Fathom divers have experienced instructors available at all times of the day or night and due to growing popularity now offer scuba diving courses to schools.  We currently run courses for Whitgift Boys School and if your school has swimming pool and classroom facilities that we can use we will arrange courses to be run on the school premises.  

A typical open water course would be run over a five week period, each session would be made up of one hour in the classroom where students learn the theory side of diving followed by an hour in the pool learning the practical skills.  Once both the theory and confined water dives are completed we will spend two days at open water where we repeat the skills we have already learned in the pool to qualify as a junior open water/open water diver depending on age.

We have to limit class sizes to a maximum of 12 students for equipment reasons but are able to run more than one course per week.
